Children's Chapel (2nd - 4th)A Worship Service For Children By ChildrenChildren's Chapel is a worship service for children in grades 2-4. It includes music, readings which follow the same liturgy as the main service, prayers, a special offering and a short activity to reinforce the readings. The children actively participate in the entire service and are encouraged to volunteer as readers and prayer leaders. Children start out sitting in the Sanctuary with their family. Once the service starts, they follow the cross out to the Great Hall for Chapel. They return to the Sanctuary at the beginning of Communion. Take a look at Children's Chapel:

Lighting of the altar candles.
Singing the opening song.
Reading the Word of God.
An activity to reinforce the readings.
Prayers of the People and the Children's Prayer.
A time for individual silent prayer.
A prayer for blessings and the Holy Spirit.
An offering to support two Compassion children.
