Duties and ServicesA lector is trained in the reading of the Word and is appointed by the clergy to read lessons and initiate the Prayers of the People. Volunteer PositionsLead lector and weekly lectors to read the lessons and prayers. RequirementsThe lead lector prepares and maintains the schedule of readers for each Sunday and assures reading is consistent with the practices of Epiphany.
