Parish Retreat Oct. 17-19, 2008

Deposits Are Due Now – See Envelope in Gathering Place. This year we have invited Stan Huie from Walk Thru the Bible to teach us the Old Testament in just one weekend. Sign up your family in the Gathering Place and come to Massanetta Springs (same place as last year) to LEARN and to have FUN with your church family. The teaching is for ages 7 to adult. We will have childcare for children 6 years and younger. The retreat runs from Friday at 7pm to Sunday at 11 am..   • *SUBTRACT $14 if second person is a child 4-12 or $34 if 3 or under

Vestry Nominations

We are seeking nominations for the Vestry. Vestry Discernment Day is Saturday, September 20th from 9:00am to 12:00noon. Vestry Elections will be held on November 4th. Youth Ministry News for September

Join the Youth Ministries this fall for these exciting events and activities:

  • September 10th is our first Hang Time from 3-5pm
  • September 10th is our first Bible study from 5-6pm
  • September 13th we are going to Awakening Festival 2008
  • September 14th is the Parish cook -out, after church, we will join in with this
  • September 21st is our kick-off Youth Group event from 5-7pm, in the youth room
  • September the 21st is also our Youth Christian Education kick -off from 9-9:47am (This is for both Jr. and Sr. High youth)
