Dear Friends,
On Tuesday evening, January 10, we received Judge Bellows' ruling. Judge Bellows found against our church and in favor of The Episcopal Church (TEC) and the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia in the lawsuits that TEC and the Diocese filed against our church.

While winning this round of our ongoing legal dispute with The Episcopal Church and the Diocese of Virginia was what we hoped for, we trust that God will use this result to His glory and for our good. Epiphany remains absolutely committed to our mission: "To stand for Jesus Christ, grow together as God's family and make Him known through the power of the Holy Spirit." We will move forward, and, while we come together as a congregation to discern our next steps, we will continue to worship at our current location in Franklin Farm.

We are convinced that we can trust God with our future, just as we have trusted Him in the past. While this is not the result we would have chosen, we can trust the One who has allowed it to happen. The Peace of the Lord be with you. Robin+
