Sunday School (3yrs - 6th)

Church of the Epiphany offers Sunday School for children first through sixth grade. Children will follow the cross out of the Sanctuary, to gather in grade level groups to learn God's word in a variety of interesting and exciting ways. Lessons for 1st—4th grades are theme based and presented in a VBS-style workshop environment. Each group of lessons focuses on key Bible stories, i.e., Elijah, Jonah. Seasonal themes, such as Advent and Lent, will be incorporated in the workshop curriculum as well.

Each unit lesson runs four to six weeks. Classes are geared toward age level and learning styles. One week they may participate in a game, another week in a drama, a third week in a hands-on activity such as building a temple. All students will participate in all of the workshops for a particular lesson.

This year, the Year of Grace, explores the lives of faith heroes of the Bible. As kids unwrap these God-breathed stories week after week, they'll discover that God uses faithful people to bring about His kingdom today, just as He did long ago.
